As I grew up that was (and still is) the only music I listen(ed) to, and synthesizers were obviously the dominating instrument in the 70's, and 80's, and I grew to love them the most. Obviously, as I was oftentimes surrounded by said music, I fell in love with it. When I was little (early 2000s), their love for that music still hadn't faded, and often times both of them would be playing music via a record player, cassette player, or CD. My story is as follows: My dad was born in 1964 and my mom in 1965, both were teens during the 80's and obviously lived through that period whilst also indulging in the music from that time. I'm keen to know your stories - What was it that made you fall in love with synthesizers? How did it happen? At what age did you begin to develop an interest in the instrument? What was your first synth?
